Bikers! an original comedy written by Director Tom O’Reilly will keep audiences laughing out loud from opening through curtain call. This hysterical play unites the world of pro-tour cycle racing and die–hard motorcycle fanaticism in a hilarious celebration of life on two wheels.
The story:
Peter, a world class cyclist enjoying his best season ever is on the verge of winning the acclaimed Tour de France, when a finish line accident gets blamed on him ending his dream. Downcast and abandoned by his supporters, he returns home to find solace with an old friend Dean, a rebellious yet devoted motorcycle enthusiast. Dean, although free spirited, struggles with the burden of having the resources to do anything he wants with his life. He’s just never really decided what that is. Dean’s girlfriend Rachael, a former adult dancer, has a clear vision of her future. Her problem is that Dean wants to become a permanent part of that vision.
The hilarity takes reign over the plot when these three, accompanied by Deans’ scheming friends Clenck and Toledo venture to solve each others dilemmas. To accomplish this, some contentious forces will have to be confronted and a few rules may have to be broken!
Bikers! promises to be an extremely funny play that appeals to bicycle and motorcycle fans alike or anyone who loves to laugh!
